Spring into Gardening

The Douglas County Master Gardeners will host our annual Spring into Gardening Workshop from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday, February 24th, at the UCC Campus, 1140 Umpqua College Road, Roseburg.

Are you interested in becoming a better home gardener? Come out and join us, learn something new, and meet new gardening friends!

Our Spring into Gardening program offers four classes on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Umpqua Community College for only $25.00. The registration deadline is February 25, 2016.

Annual Trash to Treasure Sale
March 10, 2018
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

The Douglas County Master Gardeners will have a Trash to Treasure Sale from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday, March 10, at the Courthouse Annex, 1134 S.E. Douglas Ave., Roseburg.

Featuring furniture, books, appliances, bedding, kitchenware, gardening equipment, electronics and more, the sale provides a bargain opportunity for everyone. Proceeds help support the many educational programs Master Gardeners offer to local home gardeners.

Anyone who would like to donate to the sale is welcome to call the OSU Extension Office or bring items between 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM Friday, March 9th; NO plants, clothes, shoes, food, beds, exercise equipment, baby furniture and old television sets, please.

Plant & Garden Expo

The OSU Extension Douglas County Master Gardeners are sponsoring their annual Plant & Garden Expo at the Exhibit Building, Douglas County Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 5, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The Expo features thousands of varieties of plants grown by Master Gardeners (annuals, perennials, vegetables, trees, shrubs and more). Local vendors will also exhibit unique garden art and supplies for purchase. Admission is $2 (under 12 free). No pets permitted except service animals. Shoppers are encouraged to bring canned food items to contribute to the UCAN food pantry. Fairgrounds is at Exit 123 off I-5.
