Ornamentals Garden
Beyond the compost area to the southwest lies the Ornamentals Garden. Various shrubs and trees populate this area to serve as a hands-on teaching opportunity for student gardeners to learn the art of pruning, thinning and culturing ornamentals. Steve Renquist, our local OSU Extension horticultural agent oversees this area. Plants to be found here are blueberries, mop-head hydrangeas, rhododendron, viburnum, pieris, ornamental grasses, and euonymous.
